Program Details

PADI Open Water Diver Referral Course. This is what it does for you.

The safe waters of the Red Sea in Egypt near Hurghada are an ideal setting to practice what you have learned in theory and confined training sessions.

You’re on holiday and do not like the prospect of having to sit in a classroom and you prefer to do theory sessions at home. Maybe you went on a diving course during another holiday and couldn’t finish your course for whatever reason.

When you are in Egypt and visit us halfway through your Open Water Diver or Scuba Diver course and wish to continue, both the global organizations PADI and SSI classify this situation as a ‘referrral’.  It’s very flexible. You start in one dive centre and finish in another. At a time that convenes you.

So for instance you have done the theory and pool sessions back home and come to Egypt Divers. We will help you complete your course in the comfort of the warm Red Sea waters. The stage you are in when you arrive reflects the price of thye finishing. On your arrival we will work this out together.

PADI Open Water Diver Referral Course. This is how you qualify.

To qualify and participate in the PADI Open Water Referral Course a contendent must be a minimum of 10 years young.  If the contendent  is 10 years old he/she must have a parent or guardian to sign forms on his/her behalf.

You must be able to produce a Student Record Training Referral Sheet, signed by a certified instructor from your previous dive centre.

For 10 to 14 year olds who have earned the Junior Open Water Diver certificate; they must have completed all theory including final exam and confined training sessions from the PADI OPen Water Diver Course within the last 12 months. If you have exceeded 12 months we can still complete your referral course  ut you will be required to complete a full Scuba Review first.

PADI Open Water Diver Referral Course. This is what you will learn.

 The usual Open Water Diver Referral takes place after having completed theory lessons. You will have managed pool sessions elsewhere before finalizing your Open Water Course with Egypt Divers.

We have four dives scheduled for you to complete your course. Maybe you are entering with us a different phase of your course before it was interrupted. This should not concern you. We always tailor the course ending to the package you require. Flexibility is the name of our game.

When you have successfully finished the open water dives, you will be certified.
