SSI Master Diver. The Essence.
Master Diver. The Holy Grail for the certified, committed recreational diver, looking to attain the highest non-leadership diver level. Top of the bill.
The SSI Master Diver course rates is one of the most elite ratings in diving today. To earn the certification of Master Diver you will enjoy specialty training, completing 4 specialty courses apart from SSI Stress & Rescue Diver and have registered a total of at least 50 dives.
After having succesfully rounded the program and having paired knowledge with skills, you may consider yourself a true master diver.
SSI Master Diver. The Pre-requisites.
- Minimum age: 12 years old.
- Have at least one (1) of the following SSI certifications or an equivalent from a recognized training agency: Open Water Diver, Junior Open Water Diver
NOTE: Only two (2) specialties from another recognized training agency may be credited toward the Master Diver rating.
All non-SSI certifications must be entered into MySSI by the SSI Dive Center/Resort for the student to receive credit.
SSI Master Diver. Learning Method.
Once all requirements are complete and the student’s profile is updated in MySSI, the Master Diver digital recognition card is automatically issued at no charge.

- Plastic card Open Water Diver 10€ (optional)
- Transfer from and to Soma Bay (10 Euro/Pax), El Gouna (10 Euro/Pax), Safaga (15 Euro/Pax)
Booking Notes!
- -Don't forget to bring a copy of a valid passport.
- -Medical statement from your doctor stating that you are fit to dive.
- -Distribution of diving dates is flexible and can be arranged with reception of the diving center according to your wish.
